Locally owned and operated by Craig & Cherie Smith in
Kokomo, Indiana.

FlatBottom BBQ started out as a cooking passion for Craig. As he developed his flavor profile and wanting to learn more about the intricate details of smoked meats, Craig joined the Kansas City Barbeque Society. He became a certified judge and Craig and Cherie started traveling the Midwest to compete in various BBQ competitions.
​
Craig's friends and family kept encouraging him to open his own restaurant. Looking at retiring soon and not wanting a huge overhead, they purchased a food trailer and began catering events and serving food at festivals.
​
FlatBottom BBQ is known for it's unique rubs and sauces that are homemade for each event.
